Excalibur Vixen II Crossbow – Pink Crossbow

Power and Accuracy:
The Excalibur vixen II crossbow shoots 325-gr the arrows up to 285 fps, with 58.63 ft. lbs. The vixen II isn’t the most powerful crossbow on the market, but it does get the job done.
The Crossbow Scope:
The Vari-Zone scope allows you to compensate for different speeds between 250 and 350 fps in a 10 yard increments. The adjustable settings for different speeds is a very nice option, The only draw back the Vari-Zone scope I find is that it doesn’t have illuminated cross-hairs. Not very good for foggy, low light conditions.
Arrows:
The Excalibur Vixen II ships with 4 20″ Firebolt carbon arrows. They are some of the nicest arrows.
Make sure you purchase 20″ carbon arrows weighing at least 325 grain. Never lighter arrows with this crossbow.
Hunting:
The Excalibur vixen has enough of a punch to take down a small to medium sized Deer, wild turkey, elk, wild boar these are all good targets for the Vixen. The Vixen II accuracy up to 80 yards keeping you within the grouping 4″ circle.
Design and Safety:
The Vixen II is safe and reliable the safety is solid. It engages when it should. And the trigger pull is very nice, giving you a bit of room to play before it starts to break over.
