The Field Logic Big Shooter Buck 3D Archery Target is a 51-inch, life-life buck that has a 33-inch shoulder and 125-inch Pope and Young antlers. The replaceable, high-density core is nearly 25% larger than the majority of other practice shooter bucks on the market. In fact, the buck has the size of a 200-pound live deer.
The legs and antlers of the deer can be removed easily, so it can be stored when not being used. The product also works well in stopping broadhead, expandable, and field tip arrows. Likewise, the arrows can be easily removed when the shooter pulls them out.

While the price difference isn’t much, there are a few things that Field Logic’s GlenDel Buck 3D Archery Target has that the Big Shooter Buck doesn’t have. It has nearly five times the insert shooting surface that allows for over 1,000 practice shots before it would need replacement.
It also clearly indicates the vital organs to teach you where the organs are, and where you should shoot when hunting stags in the woods. Also, all internal layers are fused to the inner target for a more uniform layer compression.
Conclusion
Working with the Big Shooter Buck 3D Archery Target proved to be easier than expected, and there were both benefits and downfalls with it. We found that for the price, the target did precisely what it needed to do but with the proper information, we would have invested a few more dollars into the GlenDel Buck 3D Archery Target instead.
Pulling arrows from the Big Shooter Buck was quite tricky and seemed to need a team effort. We also found that the “kill zone” insert protruded from the buck itself, and using more than the two stakes provided might be needed to keep the deer in place. However, multiple arrow types were used, and there didn’t seem to be an issue.
Overall, for the price that you pay, the Big Shooter Buck 3D Archery Target is worth it, especially for those who won’t use it frequently and are looking for something for occasional practice shooting. If you aren’t ready to spend an arm and a leg and don’t mind a few inconsistencies with the product, this practice buck could be a reliable option for you.
Otherwise, we would highly recommend spending the few extra dollars on the GlenDel Buck from the same company. It offers more to the shooter, proved to be more durable, and is designed to take more arrow hits.
